The matter of Journey Zsohar (formerly Vincent) v Romi Dhillon will be heard by a Yukon Human Rights Board of Adjudication on January 3 and 4, 2024. This hearing concerns a human rights complaint of discrimination on the basis of gender identity or expression and/or sexual orientation in connection with any aspect of occupancy, possession, lease or sale of property offered to the public. The hearing will commence on January 3, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre, Multi-Purpose Room, at 1171 Front Street, Whitehorse, Yukon. Members of the public can attend the hearing in person.

The Board of Adjudication will consist of Judith Hartling (Chair), Carol Geddes and Vincent Larochelle. The Yukon Human Rights Panel of Adjudication is a body created under the Yukon Human Rights Act, which is separate and independent from the Yukon Human Rights Commission. The role of the Yukon Human Rights Panel of Adjudication is to adjudicate human rights complaints after they have been referred to a hearing by the Yukon Human Rights Commission.
