Yukoners are not immune to the impacts of strife around the globe. In times of conflict, the Yukon Human Rights Commission has seen increased levels of hatred emerge in forms such as Islamophobia, antisemitism and other manifestations of discrimination and racism. This cannot be tolerated, and the Commission decries the toll global violence takes each and every year.

The Commission’s role under the Yukon Human Rights Act includes the protection of Yukoners from discrimination on the basis of religion, race and national origin. If you believe you are facing discrimination of any sort, we encourage you to reach out to us at info@yukonhumanrights.ca.
